About

In 2009, I set out with a modest mission to spread the word about the work of singer/songwriter and producer Joe Henry.  In the half-decade since, JH has continued to release singular solo albums and lend his production talents to numerous projects.

In 2014, JH has established his presence on Facebook and keeps us up to speed on many of his current projects.  However, it is my hope that the blog still provides some value to the die-hard Joe Henry fans around the world.  It has been my great pleasure to hear from many readers and share our mutual admiration for one of the great – and under appreciated – recording artists of our time.  It has been no small surprise and thrill to receive the support of Joe’s management and Joe himself in this endeavor.  Over the past few years, I have received too many kind emails to count.

In the spirit of continuous improvement, it is my hope that you will find this blog easier to read and follow, and I believe WordPress provides a better platform for my intentions.  If nothing else, I felt that the domains associated with my original blog (an extension of my original blogs dating back to 2004) needed a reboot.  One technical improvement you will notice is that many of the old sidebars are now featured as Pages on this site, which will hopefully become a better organized archive of articles, media and various other featured links.  Once the old site is retired a few months from now, you may occasionally find broken links to previous posts, but those should be minimally disruptive.

This site will continue to be a labor of love, and I welcome your comments and suggestions for improving it.

Very humbly yours,

David Kennedy
